VINCI Energies UK and RoI acquire Cougar Automation Ltd.

VINCI ENERGIES CONTINUES ITS GROWTH WITH THE ACQUISITION OF UK SYSTEMS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST VINCI Energies UK & ROI has bolstered its industrial automation and process control capabilities by acquiring Cougar Automation, one of the UK’s largest Control System Integrators.

Cougar Automation Ltd employs 110 people across six UK offices and offers a suite of advanced engineering solutions in areas such as Control Systems Integration, Industrial Internet of Things (Industry 4.0), Functional Safety and Cyber Security for control systems. Its customers include major companies active in the water, oil & gas, manufacturing, food processing, waste recycling, energy, infrastructure and transportation industries.

The company is a well-established, reliable and sought-after supplier of advanced Automation and System Integration Services. As one of the largest independent Control System Integrators in the UK, the company has for more than 25 years provided a high-quality and personalised service to meet and exceed the expectations of a diverse range of clients.

The deal, which has just been finalised, adds to the growing number of businesses that contribute to VINCI Energies’ industrial engineering expertise. The Group, which was further strengthened earlier in the year with the acquisition of automation specialist QSI Group, advises companies on industrial processes and automation, industrial IT, engineering design, project management, installation, and smart maintenance.
