Control and software automation specialist QSI Group primed for growth with Actemium rebrand

QSI Group, part of VINCI Energies UK & RoI since 2017, has been rebranded as Actemium Automation Teesside as it joins the wider Actemium network of Business Units in its mission to boost industrial performance.

Since Teesside-based QSI Group joined VINCI Energies UK & RoI in July 2017, the control and software automation specialist has been working closely with Actemium, the VINCI Energies brand dedicated to industry, to enhance the company’s overall offer.

QSI Groups’ expertise is in the design of continuous process control systems and batch control systems, while Actemium prides itself not only on the design but also the implementation and maintenance of customers’ production equipment with the goal of continuously improving performance.

The rebrand of QSI Group to Actemium Automation Teesside signifies this close relationship with the wider network of Actemium Business Units, as well as its ambitions for growth.

Actemium is a global network of more than 380 specialist Business Units, assisting customers in the transformation to a smarter industry through the design, build and maintenance of industrial processes and sites.

It has a strong presence in the UK with sites in Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham, Gloucester and Walsall, and the combined expertise of this network will support QSI Group in the next stage of its development.

QSI Group Business Unit General Manager Steve Watson says: “We are excited to announce this next stage in the development of our company. Joining Actemium will elevate our capabilities and offer to customers, by enabling us to draw on the technical knowledge and experience of a huge number of international engineers”.

VINCI Energies UK & RoI Director Philippe Guérin says: “The unification of QSI Group with the wider Actemium brand is a ‘win-win’ for us and our customers. QSI Group’s expertise allows us to provide even more added-value for customers as we strive to transform industrial performance.”
