Heart-Shaped Decisions, based in North Solihull, has received a £3,000 donation from the VINCI UK Foundation to invest in new IT equipment and upgrade its website. These improvements will enhance the delivery of high-impact motivational events across schools and colleges in the West Midlands, designed to inspire, encourage and empower young people aged 15–25 to overcome adversity, make positive life choices, and set ambitious personal goals.

Founded in 2022 by Graham Frost, Heart-Shaped Decisions aims to boost self-esteem, aspirations and personal development among young people – helping to reduce the risks associated with criminal behaviour, mental health challenges and dependency on public services. Heart-Shaped Decisions delivers its programmes through small-group workshops and one-to-one mentoring, offered to schools and colleges via corporate sponsorship.

The main beneficiaries of the initiative are young people aged 15–25 in schools, colleges and universities across the West Midlands, along with their teachers, families, carers and wider communities. Participating sponsoring organisations also benefit by strengthening their relationships with local education providers and building connections with potential future employees.
