Here in the UK and RoI, our VINCI businesses are proud contributors to the VINCI UK Foundation, helping to support charities and community projects that tackle social exclusion and make a tangible difference in the communities around us.

2026 marks another significant year for the Foundation with £269,797 in funding awarded to 54 projects across the UK, highlighting both the growing reach of the Foundation and the continued need for support within local communities.

The funding will help charities improve facilities, purchase vital equipment, enhance transport and deliver services that create opportunities and strengthen communities.

But the Foundation’s support goes beyond financial contributions. Each project is sponsored by a VINCI employee, who gives their time, skills and expertise to support the charity over a 12-month period. It is this combination of financial support and hands-on employee involvement that sits at the heart of the VINCI UK Foundation and helps create a lasting impact.

This year, the VINCI UK Foundation is proud to support a wide range of charities and community organisations, each making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people they serve. Here are just some of the organisations receiving support in 2026:

Down Syndrome UK​

Down Syndrome UK is a parent-led charity working hard to challenge outdated stereotypes and raise expectations for individuals with Down syndrome. What sets them apart is their comprehensive training and resources for both parents and professionals, expertly crafted by those with lived experience of Down syndrome. ​Sponsored by Ryan Wilkinson from VINCI Energies UK & RoI, the £3,498 donation will aid the delivery of Expectant Parent Packs, helping expecting parents of children with down syndrome to connect with their child using books, knitted hats and bonding squares.

The Edinburgh Remakery Ltd​

Edinburgh Remakery is committed to helping communities and businesses waste less and live more by providing repair and reuse services alongside inclusive programmes that put people, participation and community at their heart. Through its Repair, Rewear, Reconnect programme, 24 sewing-based Community Clubs support disadvantaged young people to build practical skills, confidence and creativity through repair, reuse and upcycling, while also encouraging progression into volunteering and creating opportunities to strengthen connection, wellbeing and more sustainable approaches to clothing and materials. The project is being sponsored by David Hoffman from Edinburgh Airport, with a £3,000 donation from the VINCI UK Foundation helping to fund new sewing machines and materials to support the delivery of the programme.

KFCA

Kensington Fields Community Centre has been supporting its local community for more than 50 years, providing a wide range of services including a weekly food pantry and lunch club, debt and benefits support, children’s activities, a community library, allotment, cooking education and health and wellbeing programmes. Sponsored by Bethany Thomas from VINCI Building, a £6,000 donation will help to fund a new wooden pergola and its foundations, enhancing its outdoor covered activity area, creating a more welcoming and accessible space for free wellbeing sessions, social activities and opportunities to learn new skills such as horticulture, cooking and volunteering.

One Can Trust

One Can Trust provides vital support to people experiencing financial hardship, helping to relieve food poverty while building stronger community connections, promoting independence and reducing the stigma around asking for help. With support from the VINCI UK Foundation, the charity has received £3,500 towards new storage equipment, dollies and a workbench, helping its warehouse team maximise space, store food more safely and reduce the risk of accidents for volunteers and staff. The project is co-sponsored by George Swanson and Chris Merridew from Soletanche Bachy.

Connected Routes C.I.C

Connected Routes C.I.C. supports women from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds to overcome barriers to employment and education, helping them build confidence, develop skills and access new opportunities in the UK. With Marie Dobson from Freyssinet sponsoring the project, the VINCI UK Foundation has awarded £5,000 to fund 20 laptops for women taking part in the organisation’s 2026–27 Mentoring Programme. The laptops will help participants access one-to-one mentoring, skills workshops and job or course applications, removing a key digital barrier and helping more women take positive steps towards employment and further education.

TalkHub C.I.C

TalkHub C.I.C. uses exercise and boxing as a way to support men across Warrington and the surrounding areas with their mental health and wellbeing, creating a welcoming space to connect, stay active and build confidence. Sponsored by Hope Crabtree from NUVIA, the project has received £5,000 from the VINCI UK Foundation to invest in new gym equipment, helping TalkHub improve the quality, safety and accessibility of its weekly sessions. The funding will also support the organisation as it looks to expand its offer to the wider community and reach more people through targeted wellbeing programmes.

Diversify Education and Communities CIC​

Diversify Education and Communities CIC works with Black African and Caribbean communities to help people overcome social and economic barriers, with a particular focus on supporting young people into employment, education and vocational pathways. Through its Skill Bridge Project, participants receive practical training, employability guidance and confidence-building support, with Rob Thomas from Eurovia sponsoring the initiative through the VINCI UK Foundation. A £5,000 grant will fund laptops and IT equipment, giving participants better access to the tools they need to develop essential digital skills, explore opportunities and take positive steps towards their future.

Aishah Help

Aishah Help is helping to tackle digital exclusion across London by giving vulnerable women and adults the skills, confidence and access they need to participate more fully in everyday life. Through its Digital Skills Laptop Access Programme, and with Mohammed Samiul Islam Miah from VINCI Construction Grands Projets supporting the project as sponsor, the charity has received £5,000 from the VINCI UK Foundation towards laptops and IT equipment. The programme will support participants to build essential digital skills, access employment and education opportunities, use vital online services and become more independent in an increasingly digital world.

Phoenix Heroes CIC

Phoenix Heroes CIC supports veterans through outdoor activities, community connection and practical support, helping to reduce isolation and create a strong sense of belonging. The organisation is developing a new Veterans Base Camp in Colchester, which will provide a dedicated community hub, office, shop, garden and allotment space where veterans can meet and access support services. With Ben Gale from VINCI Facilities sponsoring the project, the VINCI UK Foundation has awarded £3,000, including £2,000 towards polytunnels and £1,000 for tools. The funding will help bring the new base to life and create a welcoming, long-term space for veterans and the wider community.
