Powell Engineering, a Doncaster-based company that designs, supplies and constructs high voltage electrical infrastructure solutions, has announced it will now operate as Omexom UK Power Solutions, a VINCI Energies brand.

Spencer Thompson, Managing Director of Powell Engineering, commented: “This is an exciting move forward for the company. Joining Omexom will allow us to expand our capabilities and enhance our offer to clients. In recent years, Powell Engineering has grown in both size and ambition, establishing a diverse client base and reputation for quality and safety across the UK. The company has secured and expanded its framework agreements with key clients, such as National Grid and Northern Power Grid, and saw its annual turnover increase to around £12m as a result.

Omexom will benefit from Powell Engineering’s 100-strong workforce and will enable them to connect with specialists in 32 countries worldwide.
